If you have any other questions please contact us directly.
Why should I ride with Jet Adventures?
You will be able to get up close and personal with the amazing coastline and wildlife of Cape Naturaliste like never before. Our Jet boat has been custom built to cater for these unique waters. And our skipper and owner Pete Kalbfell will share with you his intimate knowledge of this ocean and it’s secrets and stories.
Do I need to book?
We operate most days of the year. We take online bookings during peak seasons and phone bookings for groups in the off season period. We sell tickets on the boat but do encourage you to book in advance to avoid delay or disappointment.
How long is the trip?
The Thrill rides are of 30 minutes duration, but the skipper may also stop for a quick swim depending on weather conditions or to check out unexpected marine guests who may drop in for a visit. The Whale Safari and Sea Safari are of 2 hours duration. Plan to arrive at the departure location at least 10 minutes before hand.
How Wet will I get?
Expect to get wet on the thrill rides in the summer months, it’s part of the fun. But if you are concerned, and for the cooler months, we’ve got heavy duty Burke Jackets and waterproof pants. We also recommend sitting on the inside aisle seats for fewer splashes. Electronic equipment and valuables will be placed in our on board locker. For the Whale Safari and Sea Safari we provide Burke jackets to keep you warm and dry in cooler months. Dry bags are also provided to all passengers on these tours for your camera and any other valuables.
What should I wear?
If conditions are favourable in the summer you might get the opportunity for a swim so wear your bathers and bring a towel. For the Whale Safari and Sea Safari make sure to wear a hat in the summer months. We have suncream on board and may have our sun shade erected. Burke Jackets are provided to all passengers in the cooler months.
Can I travel with an injury?
Thrill rides are not suitable for people with back or neck injuries, epilepsy or pregnant women. If you are in one of these categories we recommend joining us on a Sea safari or Sunset Cruise.
Are the tours suitable for children?
Children pay a reduced rate up to the age of 14 years. Children under the age of 10 years must also be accompanied by an adult. We also offer a family pass rate for all tour types. For Thrill rides children need to be 125cm or taller so they can reach the handle bar in front securely. For other tours please check with us if your child is under 5 years of age.
What happens if the ocean conditions become unfavourable?
Jet Adventures may cancel tours for unforseen events such as if the water conditions become unfavourable. A big swell can be an exciting part of the Indian ocean experience but on occasion the skipper will call off tours due to bad weather. We are happy to rebook you on another day or provide a full refund. We endeavour where possible to advise of cancellations first thing in the morning of the schedule.
What if I have to cancel or rebook?
If you choose to cancel or change your booking and provide at least 24 hours notice a full refund with be provided. If you cancel and provide less than 24 hours, you will be charged the full amount of your booking. For our Terms and Conditions, click HERE.
Can I bring a Camera?
Definitely bring your camera for the Whale Safari and Sea Safari. There will be ample photo opportunities. We also provide dry bags on these tours for you to ensure the safety of your camera. The thrill rides are fast and action packed so only head mounted water proof cameras are suitable. However we know how great it is to have a memory of your experience and therefore Included in your thrill ride ticket price we provide FREE downloadable photos.
