The Exhilarator offers a boutique whale watching service for the more adventurous tourist. This custom built vessel has comfortable tiered seating to provide great viewing for all passengers and have on board hydrophone to listen to these amazing mammals through in built stereo system. Our custom built Jet boat has been designed to suit these Indian Ocean conditions.
It provides incredible manoeuvrability, comfortable seating (for a max of 12 passengers), shade, and a hydrophone.
Moreover Pete Kalbfell is Jet Adventures’ Skipper and guide, a passionate, South West local who shares his knowledge of these impressive creatures and stories of the local Margaret River Region area.
Wet weather carry bags and spray jackets or heavier Burka Jackets are also available should you wish.
There will be great opportunities and ample stops along the way to take photos of the amazing scenery – make sure you bring your camera!
- What To Bring
WHAT TO WEAR
Please wear comfortable clothing. If the forecast is for cool or windy conditions you may want to wear warm clothes. Fully waterproof and warm Burke Jackets are provided for your comfort.
As our whale watching tours have a duration of over 2 hours, please make sure to wear a hat. We have suncream on board and may also have our sun shade erected. We promote sun safety at all times.
There will be many great opportunities to take photos of humpback whales, blue whales and even dolphins – make sure you bring your camera!
However, depending on weather conditions, there may be ocean spray and/or light rain, so a waterproof camera or action cam would be highly recommended.
